01Who we are

keralam.si is operated by DeeclueDot Ventures Private Limited, a company in India ("we", "us"). We decide how the personal data collected on keralam.si is used, and we are responsible for it.

02What we collect

When	What we collect
You join as a freelancer	Name, email, WhatsApp number, photo, city, title, main skill, price, experience, expertise, availability, about text, selected work and links (Instagram, Behance, website, LinkedIn, GitHub), and your chosen plan.
You list a company	Company name, category, location, website, year founded, team size, description, services and markets, and the contact person's name, role, email and WhatsApp number.
You contact someone or send a brief	Your name, email, company (optional), country, budget, start time and message, plus the person, company or category you contacted.
You ask about a trip or workation	Your name, email, dates, group size, preferences and message.
You visit the site	Basic technical data, such as IP address, browser and device, which our hosting, font and image providers receive to deliver the pages. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics also records which pages you visit and roughly where you are. We don't use advertising cookies.

Please don't send us sensitive personal data (for example health, religion or financial account details). We don't need it.

03Why we use it

To publish your listing after we review it.
To pass messages from buyers to the freelancer or company they chose, and to match briefs with suitable teams.
To run the plans, including the Direct WhatsApp option, and to contact you about your listing.
To keep the site safe, including stopping spam, fake listings and misuse.
To improve keralam.si, for example by counting which categories get enquiries.

We use your data on the basis of the consent you give when you tick the box on a form, and for legitimate uses allowed by law, such as preventing fraud or meeting legal duties. You can withdraw consent at any time (see Your rights).

04What is public and what is private

For freelancers: name, photo, title, city, languages, price, experience, expertise, availability, about, selected work and the links you add. For companies: name, category, location, website, founding year, team size, description and services.	Your email address, your company contact person's details, and your WhatsApp number on the free plan. On the Direct WhatsApp plan, the Connect button opens a WhatsApp chat with the number you gave, so that number becomes visible to anyone who uses it.

06Where your data is processed

Some of our service providers store or process data outside India, for example in the United States or Europe. We use established providers and share only what they need to do their job.

07How long we keep it

Messages, briefs and trip requests: kept for 30 days after we forward or answer them, then deleted.
Join applications we don't approve: deleted within 30 days.
Live listings: kept while your listing is live. When you ask us to remove it, we take it off the site within 24 hours and delete your details from our records within 30 days.
We may keep a small record longer if the law requires it, for example payment records.

08Your rights and how to use them

Under Indian data protection law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can:

Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you.
Correct or update your details.
Delete your data or remove your listing.
Withdraw consent for us to use your data.
Raise a grievance with our Grievance Officer, and then with the Data Protection Board of India if you're not satisfied.
Nominate someone to use these rights for you.

How changes work today. keralam.si doesn't have an account area yet, so all edits, additions and removals are done by our team. Email profiles@keralam.si from the email address on your listing, say what you'd like changed, and we'll make the change within 24 hours. A self-service dashboard is on the way.

For any other privacy request, email support@keralam.si. We may ask you to confirm your identity first.

09Grievance Officer

If you have a concern about how we handle your personal data, contact our Grievance Officer. We'll acknowledge your message within 2 working days and aim to resolve it within 30 days.

10Age limit

keralam.si is for people aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone younger. If you think a minor has sent us their details, email support@keralam.si and we'll delete them.

11Cookies

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are useful, but only if you click Accept on the cookie banner. Until then, no analytics cookies are set. Google Analytics cookies (named _ga and _ga_*) last up to 2 years, and Google processes the data as our service provider. We don't use advertising cookies, and we have turned off Google's advertising features.

We remember your choice in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie. You can change it at any time with Cookie settings, which is also in the footer of every page.

12Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your data, such as HTTPS, limited access to our inbox, and trusted service providers. No website or email system is completely secure, so please don't send anything through keralam.si that you wouldn't want shared with the person you're contacting.

13Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as keralam.si grows. We'll change the "Last updated" date above, and for important changes we'll email listed freelancers and companies.
